"All about Subsidized Housing in Durham"

The Durham Region Unemployed Help Centre is pleased to invite you to the highly informative session by Housing Services on:

Wednesday, July 21st, 2010 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Absolutely free to Immigrants in Canada Housing Services provides support to Durham residents to assist in housing needs. If you qualify, Housing Services may provide you with:

• Rent-Geared-to-Income (RGI) assistance to help you cover your housing costs
• Assistance to find accommodations or to prevent eviction
• Short-term emergency accommodations if you become homeless

Housing Services works with local housing providers and landlords to assist you to maintain stable accommodations in the community.

Speaker: Diana Chappell, Program Manager, Housing Services

Diana Chappell has worked in the Social Service field for more than 30 years. With experience in a range of programs, she can answer many of your questions about your housing needs and provide information on what the Region can do to help you.
