three major government sources to run specific Job Search
Programs:
These
three funding sources allow our agency to provide the following
services to job-seekers:
One-on-one
counselling to develop:

individualized back-to-work action plan

contact for support and guidance
Group
workshops to develop:
- Skills
and knowledge required to conduct a successful job search
in the hidden job market
- Effective
job search tools
- Successful
interviewing techniques
- A network
of peers

Search Workshop for newcomers to Canada to learn:
- How
to effectively search for employment in Canada
- What
Canadian employers are looking for
- How
to gain Canadian Work Experience
- How
to develop a résumé that works in Canada
Resource
Centre to gain access to:
- Hundreds
of job postings - updated daily
- Computers
with Internet capabilities
- Professional
staff who provide guidance and support
- Telephone
answering service
- Extended
hour service
Our services,
thanks to our funders, are free to you. Nearly
80% of our clients find work within 8 weeks of using our services,

search advice online.
