Employment Ontario - Employment Services has merged employment and training services from the federal and provincial government to provide one coherent and comprehensive service. A streamlined customer centric program with:
Staff supported service available to all job seekers, regardless of age or employment status. Free access to high-speed computers, laser printers, facsimile, photocopiers and job search resources. Job binders categorized by field of employment are updated daily with hundreds of opportunities.
Employment counselors will meet one-on-one with you to assist you in reaching your employment goals by: identifying transferable employment skills, defining job objectives, building and polishing resume and cover letters, and providing on-going job search advice and support.
Please Note: Entry into this service is only through assessment and referral from an AS employment counsellor.
Our employment specialists actively solicit employment opportunities based on individuals' employment goals. Our professional team will seek opportunities to have skills assessed on the job or to gain required Canadian work experience through job trails, volunteer placements, job shadowing as well as direct job placements.
