This summer, Maralyn Tassone, Executive Director for the Durham Region Unemployed Help Centre read Jonathan Creaghan's novel "Duxter's Leap" and was inspired to contact him.
Maralyn felt that the message and concept of Jonathan's book was perfect for the upcoming Annual General Meeting and asked him if he would serve as the Keynote Speaker. Jonathan agreed!
Since Duxter's Leap was first published, it has been translated into seven languages around the globe.
Jonathan is contacted regularly by readers who inform him of the immense impact that Duxter's Leap has had on their lives.
Readers relate to Duxter's journey which, in essence, reflects the journey/transition that they themselves are on.
The story is an awakening that shines a light into our thoughts, dreams and challenges, motivating and moving us forward.
On September 25th, we are thrilled to welcome Jonathan Creaghan as our Guest Speaker for DRUHC's 32nd Annual General Meeting.
We hope you will join us!
